Fragrance Direct Haul

fragrance direct haul
Since moving recently, I had a good sort out of my nail varnishes and got rid of a lot! So I'm slowly injecting to some new colours into my collection and getting a few more season appropriate shades!

Quite a while back I remember seeing someone blog about how good Fragrance Direct are for discounted brands so I had a little look to see what they had in the way of nail varnishes and I've got to say I was surprised by the choice and brands! Plus I placed this order on Saturday and it arrived by Wednesday which I was highly impressed with as the delivery option I paid for was 5-7 days delivery!
OPI review
OPI Just Beclaus // OPI I'm Feeling Sashy // OPI Amazon Amazoff// OPI Happy Anniversary

I've never tried any OPI nail varnishes but I've heard they're very chip resistant which is a must for me! So I am very much looking forward to trying these out and seeing how long lasting they truly are.
Tanya Burr CosmeticsTanya Burr Penguin Chic

Yes, I know, just a tad late on this one... I never tend to try products released by YouTubers as generally I think they're targeted at  a younger audience who wouldn't be as fussy about quality. I really wanted to try this shade in particular as I've been looking for something neutral that won't draw to much attention to my nails, which are currently in quite bad condition!
Essie
Essie Essie Parka Perfect// Essie Toggle to the Top// Essie Status Symbol

I'm a huge lover of Essie nail varnishes and when I saw they were only £2.49 I couldn't resist! Normally priced at £7.99 this a huge saving! I've really wanted to try out the shade Parka Perfect for ages and think the bluey grey colour is a perfect alternative for transitioning from bright summer colours and pastels to more neutral tones for Autumn and Winter. However, I've got to say the shade Status Symbol is a lot brighter than I expected!

I'd definitely recommend ordering from Fragrance Direct! Delivery was quick and I'm super happy with the products.

Disney Wishlist

Who doesn't love a bit of Disney?! Booking flights to New York made me excited about going to Times Square Disney store (one of the best places ever!) again which then just got me thinking about Disney in general!
Primark does the best pajamas so when Primark does Disney pajamas they are just amazing. These cute Lion King ones look so cosy (I can confirm they are because I may have bought the Olaf ones last week...)
Winter is coming so mugs are obviously essential for hot chocolate making and these Disney ones are the perfect size and adorable!  Admitedly Bing Bong from Inside Out creeps me out a bit but kinda makes me laugh as he represents weird childishness which I love. And with being snuggled up drinking your hot chocolate you obviously need cosy thumper socks!
As for the tsum tsums and the sadness soft toy - they are both just adorable and my peas in a pod are getting lonely!

My Little Box- September

Let's start on a positive note... I adored this month's My Little Box!

Now prepare yourself for whinging and whining. This box was supposedly dispatched on the 2nd September, it arrived today on 17th! Now, okay, fair enough the email did say it will be delivered by 20th September so technically it arrived on time. I could have accepted it and moved on if it wasn't for the fact that My Little Box posted spoilers on their Facebook page! Therefore I knew what the main item in the box was which totally ruined the surprise! I don't really know why they thought this would be a good idea when a lot of subscribers had been complaining that it was yet to arrive and that one of the main reasons why a lot of people love this box is the element of surprise. Admittedly, being impatient and upset I would be getting not be getting a surprise, I was thinking maybe this subscription isn't worth the hassle. But then this box of loveliness turned up at my door (delivered by the lovely delivery man who I've seen nearly every day this week, who must think I'm absolutely bonkers - one day I panicked because I couldn't see to sign the screen as I just got back from having tests done on my eyes at hospital and then other days I've had huge boxes delivered). Well that was a bit of a tangent...

The amazing contents of the September "My Little Fashion box" consisted of...

My Little Scarf
Mini Bottle of Cointreau
Nail Stickers
L'Oreal Keratase Hair Spray
La Roche-Posay BB Creme
"Red Dingue" My Little Beauty Lip Cream
Cocktail Recipes

I love all the products in this months box, although there are some products I will definitely use more than others! The scarf I will definitely wear, it's perfect for the transition between seasons and will go with absolutely anything. In some boxes this scarf was blue but I'm so glad I got the black and white pattern! The product I'm probably most excited about is the La Roche-Posay BB cream, I've never tried anything from the brand but I've heard good things and never found a BB cream that I've liked or that has suited my skin tone. This looks light enough for my skin and if the brand is as good as people say I'm sure I won't be disappointed! As for the nail stickers, they are something I might play around with but they're something my sister will probably be more interested in than me. Again, the lip cream, I don't ever feel confident enough to wear a red lip and think it brings out the redness of my spots (highly unflattering!). I am a bit disappointed that it couldn't have been a different shade seeing as there was a very similar shade from a different brand in the last box!

The cherry on top for me was the cute little bottle of alcohol and the cocktail recipes as it just such a good little added extra. Although I must admit I find it slightly confusing that it's in a September box when I'm thinking about cracking out the hot chocolates rather than mixing up a cocktail! Also slightly concerned that I think this went in all boxes despite the age....I may be wrong but I'm still not sure if its appropriate but all the same I love the extra touch!

Overall, I loved this box and despite the long delivery etc I will be continuing my subscription for another month. I'm already excited about the October box eeeeek!

My Little Box - August

Well this is a bit late but August's My Little Box was my first so I wanted to give a review of my initial impressions of this box and whether it's worth the money! Also the first box takes longer to arrive than normal (not sure why...) so I only received it last week!

I'd already seen the contents of the box so sadly it lacked the element of surprise this month! I'm currently waiting for the September box and resisting temptation to look at the spoilers (if you didn't know already, this box is from France so French subscribers are lucky enough to get theirs a lot earlier in the month!)
The theme of this box was "My Little Gypset box", sort of bohemian summery feel - personally I think it's a bit late for a summer theme as I know quite a lot of us here in the UK are just excepting that we aren't going to be lucky enough to have some sun before the autumn days creep up on us! However, it did have some lovely contents!

The contents of this My Little Box were...

-The magazine (which no one seems to read...)
-A lovely quote postcard (sadly, I've got nowhere to put these up like others do!)
- Drawstring bucket bag
-Bracelet hair bands
-My Little Beauty Bronzer
-Korres Body Milk
-Lip/cheek tint by So Susan

Overall, I think this is a lovely box and most of the items I'll definitely use! As for the bag... now I've seen a lot of a mixed feelings in other blogger's reviews, some have loved it and others have hated it. To be honest, I am not a fan, I don't think I'll end up using it! However, I am not complaining as it won't go unused, it'll either end up as makeup storage or given to a my sister or a friend.

Personally, my favourite item in the box was the hairband bracelets, I'm forever wearing a hair tie around my wrist so these are perfect as they look a lot nicer and don't dig into your wrist!

As for the makeup, I haven't tried it out long enough to know how I feel about it but what I love about this box is that from reviews I've seen it always seems to have a good variety of products from a range of brands which will give me the opportunity to try out lots of new things!

This box definitely made me think I've made the right decision choosing to subscribe to My Little Box and I'm super excited for the next box and eagerly awaiting the postman to deliver it! I've heard rumors that the next box is a fashion box so I'm very intrigued and impatient to find out what it has to offer!
